Phuket & Krabi
4 days for two from India | Best in November–April | Mid-range budget of ₹45,000–60,000 per person
Day 1 — Phuket Old Town & Night Market
- Land at Phuket International on a direct flight from Delhi or Mumbai — Indian passport holders enter Thailand visa-free for up to 60 days; just carry your return ticket and hotel confirmation, and budget 20–40 minutes for the immigration queue.
- Check in at a mid-range Patong stay like Burasari Phuket or Deevana Plaza Patong (₹5,000–7,000 a night for two) and sleep off the red-eye.
- Late afternoon in Phuket Old Town: Sino-Portuguese shophouses along Thalang Road, then moo hong (Phuket-style braised pork belly) and crab curry at One Chun Cafe.
- Evening at Chillva Market — bamboo-stall street food, khanom buang crispy pancakes, coconut ice cream served in the shell; finish with a quick walk down Bangla Road if you have the energy.
Day 2 — Phi Phi island hopping
- 8 AM speedboat pickup for a full-day Phi Phi Islands tour (₹5,000–6,500 per person including buffet lunch and the national-park fee): the Maya Bay boardwalk, a swim inside Pileh Lagoon, and a drive-by of Viking Cave.
- Snorkel stop at Bamboo Island — the clearest water on the trip; keep reef-safe sunscreen handy, most boats don't sell it.
- Back at your hotel by 5 PM; catch sunset from Karon Viewpoint, then grilled snapper and tom yum goong at Kan Eang @ Pier on Chalong Bay.
Day 3 — Across to Krabi & Railay
- Morning transfer from Phuket to Ao Nang, Krabi — about 3 hours by shared van (₹700–900 per person) or ₹5,000–6,000 for a private car; check in at Ao Nang Cliff Beach Resort or Sugar Marina Cliffhanger.
- Longtail boat from Ao Nang beach to Railay (around ₹500 return): walk the headland path to Phra Nang Cave Beach and watch climbers scale the limestone walls above you.
- Sunset drinks on the sand at the southern end of Ao Nang, then gaeng som (fiery southern sour curry) and grilled river prawns at Krua Thara, the seafood hall locals actually drive to.
- End with a slow lap of the Ao Nang Landmark night market — mango sticky rice (khao niao mamuang) and coconut pancakes for dessert.
Day 4 — Spa morning & fly home
- Slow breakfast, then a two-hour Thai herbal-compress and aloe after-sun ritual at one of the cliffside spas off Ao Nang Beach Road (₹1,500–2,500 per person — a fraction of what the same treatment costs in India).
- Last swim at Nopparat Thara Beach, the quieter stretch west of the main strip, with a massaman curry lunch — the dish was born in Thailand's south.
- Grab dried mango and Thai curry pastes for home, then take the 40-minute taxi to Krabi International and fly back with a short Bangkok connection.
